In what has come as something of a shock to the industry, bgo Entertainment ltd has opted to surrender it’s UK license after it was suspended by the UKGC, supposedly for AML failings.
bgo has been in the UK market since early 2011, starting life as XBingo before morphing into what is currently is today. Since their Playtech involvement back in 2014, bgo has been an unwitting target of the UKGC who appear to be doing everything in their power to punish Playtech for past failings with their brand, Winner.
bgo, which also owns Chilli Casino, Vegas Luck and Power Spins, will likely continue without it’s UK audience, though time will tell if they are capable of making it work, and where they will source another license to maintain their payment systems and games providers.
